Peak Period Cruises – All departures excluding June, July & August 

A surcharge of 60% applies to the standard twin share per person rate for solo travellers, valid for Twin Cabins only. All other cabin bookings incur a surcharge of 100%.  

Off-Peak Cruises – All departures in June, July, August

Save 10% off the standard rate plus enjoy a reduced surcharge of 45% across all cabin types.  

Bookings 

All discounts and surcharges are automatically applied to bookings depending on your preferred month of travel. Simply enter one passenger and your cabin options and prices will update.

Solo standby fares

We understand that solo travel can come with extra costs, which is why we’re excited to offer Solo Standby Fares. If you’re interested in traveling in your own private cabin without paying the 60% surcharge, sign up today. Once we have your details, we’ll add you to our Standby List for any cruise. Just let us know your preferred cruise, and we’ll contact you approximately 2 weeks before departure dates.

While Standby Fares don’t guarantee a cabin until confirmed, they’re a great way to save on cruising. Please note that the Solo Standby Fares are only applicable to Standard Cabin Prices before any discounts, and pre-cruise hotel and transfers are paid at advertised rates.

Jul. 2023 • Solo What a fabulous 7 days! I loved every minute of it, the river is so peaceful and the voyage so smooth. Lots to see and do both on board and at each stopping place. The crew are excellent, they work together well, have great senses of humour and just can't do enough for you. The food is plentiful - understatement! - and delicious The cabins are compact but hold everything you need, I can't recommend this trip too highly, it was great.

From the moment you are greeted at the carpark nothing is too much trouble for all the crew of Emmylou! We have had 7 glorious nights cruising, eating, drinking,eating, laughing, eating, making friends, eating!!! Greg and Kris ensure every want is met in the saloon from Grannie rugs to sit out on deck to Trivia night!! No food request is too hard to handle from breakfast to Happy Hour ending with dinner every day! Engineers Jeff and Anthony shared their knowledge about the engine which was most interesting. Captains Neil, Warren and Richard skillfully navigated and steered Emmylou from Torrumbarry Weir to Echuca and back. As the Murray is in minor flood that was no mean feat!! Thank you to Scott for driving us all over the countryside. If you are looking for a relaxing break would highly recommend Emmylou!! Thank you Crew.

The Emmylou Cruise was a wonderful experience. The food was out of this world, the staff very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Even though we have experienced many holidays along the Murray River, both caravanning, camping and houseboating, this was a whole new experience and we learnt so much about the history of the area. The other guests onboard, some did a 4 night trip, some did a 3 night trip, help make it a lovely trip away. With the Murray River rising, it was a sight to behold, something we have not experienced before. We thoroughly recommend Murray River Paddlesteamers and The Emmylou.
